The Rio is an interesting Subcompact vehicle with a wide variety of options for customization. The 2018 Rio has three standard trim options. Additionally, you can go with either a sedan or five-door.
The three trim options for the Rio are the LX, S, and EX. The starting MSRP on the sedan ranges from $13,900 in the LX and$16,100 for the S, to $18,400 in the EX. The price increases slightly when you reach for the five-door, with the LX ringing in at $14,200, the S at $16,400, and the EX at $18,700.
The 2018 Rio is cheaper than its predecessor, but it also features new and more advanced technology. Orth Hedrick, vice president of product planning, KMA, spoke about the Rio, saying, “This fourth-generation Rio makes significant improvements over its predecessor in design, technology and passenger comfort, resulting in an even better value proposition, while raising the bar in the small-car segment.” Standard features include an advanced anti-lock braking system, MacPherson Struts, hill-star assist control, a 6-way adjustable driver’s seat and a vehicle stability management system.
