It seems that, the longer time goes on, the wider variety of vehicles that Kia produces. No matter what your preferences or interests in a vehicle are, Kia likely has the vehicle for you. Where the company had gaps, they are now filling them. Previously, you wouldn’t have been able to purchase a sports car from Kia, but the new Kia Stinger resolves this issue.
Now you have another alternatively fueled option this year. At the Los Angeles Auto Show, Kia released its all-new 2018 Niro Plug-In Hybrid. The Niro joins three other plug-in models in the Kia lineup. The Niro Plug-In is very similar to the Niro Hybrid, however, the plug-in model boasts an estimated 26 mile range on just its electricity.
Kia has been a leader in alternative fuels for its vehicles for quite some time. While other companies have sacrificed the style or affordability for its plug-in models, Kia has avoided such a path. The plug-in Niro is just as stylish and fun-driving as the pure hybrid model.
The Niro Plug-In Hybrid provides many options for its users. While it can be used for a time and produce zero emissions, it is also very functional for longer trips. Whatever your destination, the Niro will be able to get you there, sometimes without having to use any gasoline at all. With Kia’s goal of widely expanding its plug-in fleet, the Niro may be soon joined by other vehicles converted for alternative fuel.
